I am good with 4 and any route. We are planning on taking my truck, correct? Otherwise we would need to make sure that Jessica's truck is compatible with the trailer hitch and the light hookups.

this is the best idea I've seen. I'm eager to hear how the southern rockies go as well as that stretch of 70 that's so much fun to drive down. It's straight fear-and-loathing!
